Day 1 At SoleDXB With Selfish India – What I Wore

The Selfish India crew traveled to Dubai last December to SoleDXB 2018. We had in tow with us, a few of the prototypes that we intended to wear test through the weekend.

This post encapsulates what I wore on Day 1 of SoleDXB 2018. Scroll through the images and let me know your take on the prototypes and designs.

All products and styles you see here were purely for wear-testing and are constantly undergoing changes till we get them near-perfect.

As always I have kept my look muted and basic. Black tee with black lowers and the Pharrell Williams black Holi Pack sneaker with hits of purple. Outfit details provided at the end of the post.

Outfit Details

Tee – Selfish Friends and Family Exclusive
Pants – Murad Cargos by Selfish / Stone Island
Sneakers – Pharrell Williams Holi Pack
Hoodie on Manoj – Selfish
Watch – Omega Seamaster 300

Friends and Family Tee – Signifying the rising sun (for new beginnings and hopes of putting India on the map) but is derived from the Ashoka Chakra from the Indian Flag. The tee comes in a limited run and does not go on sale when produced. The back of the tee has an F + F marking to signify the limited run.

Variations of the exclusive F + F tee are currently being designed and sampled prior to going for full-fledged production.

Hoodie – Made of 350 GSM fleece, these hoodies were meant to be wear-tested for fit and how warm they would keep you. Admittedly a little too heavy for Dubai, but it does get quite cold and windy in the Emirate in December.
