Streetwear Fit is a segment that focusses on simple everyday outfits, incorporating brands from across the spectrum. Every fit within this segment is achievable primarily because they are simple and minimal in nature.

In this edition, we focus on the adidas Ultraboost OG and how good it looks with the Levi’s Engineered Jeans joggers.

About Levi’s Engineered Jeans joggers: These tapered joggers are completely knit. Think of Primeknit or Flyknit, except on your joggers. Different areas have varied intensity of knits for ease of movement and comfort. For instance, the cuffs on these joggers are all part of the jogger and not sewed on like you are used to seeing. The Levi’s Engineered Jeans joggers come with the 20th-anniversary red label fused into the waistband. By far the comfiest joggers I have ever worn.

About the adidas Ultraboost OG: Made famous by streetwear icon Kanye himself, the OG Ultraboost rose to fame in no time, selling out instantly once spotted on his feet. They were much sought after and desired, especially with all the subsequent versions carrying different knit patterns on their upper. When released again late 2018, people who were craving a pair all these years gave it a skip. Except for those who really loved the pair and don’t care about hype. Like, moi. Lol. Visible and obvious improvement to the pair comes in the form of the Continental outsole, which has proven to have a longer wear life than the basic rubber outsole on the OG version.

I kept the overall fit minimal, like I often do, and monochrome so that the purple on the heel of the Ultraboost OG pops. Completing the look are my regulars – Chimi Eyewear and Omega Seamaster. Gotta mix it up a little bit I guess.
