Streetwear Fit of the day is a segment dedicated to outfits that are both functional and relevant to the streetwear scene. In this edition, we team a pair of joggers with basic tees from 2 diverse (yet similar) brands from Russia – Gosha Rubchinskiy and the brand he nurtured, Paccbet (Carhartt WIP collaboration).
One of the primary draws of Gosha’s merchandise (specifically his tees), is the use of Cyrillic. The alphabet that looks a lot like English but isn’t really. And when Gosha launched Paccbet with a friend and skater Tolia Titaev, it continued. While a lot of people, some even today, pronounce it as they read it in English; it actually is to be read in Russian which flips the pronunciation on its head.
So what you might pronounce it Packbeth, it is actually pronounced Rassvyet.
And if you must know the meaning of Rassvyet, it literally means Dawn. But is used more in lines of meaning “Better Days”.

I kept the fit simple with the Gosha and Paccbet tees teamed with grey joggers from XBYO. XBYO, as you might know now are by adidas Originals and made from sportswear cuts by Japanese pattern maker Satomi Nakamura. I love their silhouette and lines which is why I guess they are the only joggers I wear.
Completing the look are 2 sneakers that are poles apart (being sibling who had a fall out lol) the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Cream White and the Bape Collab with Puma Blaze of Glory.
Did you know about the pronunciation before reading this post or nah? Let me know in the comments.
