Get to know Palace – Independent British Skateboard brand Palace is barely 8 years old. Founded in 2010, it is the equivalent of Supreme (at times more sought after) in UK and slowly the world over. Whilst they started out selling at a handful of stores in London, their exponential success has seen them open flagship stores of their own and product descriptions on their website that would have you cracking up. Know why their logo is called the Tri-Ferg? Because it was designed by Fergus Purcell, aka “Fergadelic” who has also designed for brands like Stussy.
Rihanna threw on a Palace Tee and was snapped by the paps. Next thing you know, Palace had blown up across the globe as the streetwear brand to be scoring. The similarities between Palace and Supreme are quite evident. From their inspiration, to focus and themes, at times the overlap feels intentional.
Did you know, when Supreme opened up it’s store in London, the only 2 apparel brands that stocked/sold were Supreme and Palace?
Cargo Pants – Stone Island
Tees – Supreme, Palace
Sneakers – UltraBoost (Gold Medal, Solebox X Packer Mid)
Jacket – HUF
Sunglasses – Off White C/O Virgil Abloh
Watch – Omega
