Continuing from where I left last week, here are 2 more sneakers that have been added to the collection.
I know I promised I would only buy Limited/Exclusive sneakers this year but I clearly broke the rule with the first sneaker I am going to talk about. Fortunately for me though, this was a present. I needed a daily beater and got something I absolutely love to wear.
adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 Triple White
Although I got myself the cream white Yeezy Boost 350 V2 for summer, I wanted something that would be a daily beater. And I found myself adding this triple white to my cart on Solebox.com when it dropped earlier in May. The reason I did not pick it up in India is because the 3.0 Ultra Boost runs half a size bigger and India does not do half sizes. And despite adding it to cart, I did not complete the purchase. Which was lucky, because I got this pair as a present the following week. Who’d have thunk it! I got a pair in UK 7.5 and I am thinking I could have gone with my true size. It is kind of snug, depending on which pair of socks you wear with them.

Nike SB X Black Sheep Skate Shop Dunk High Pro
This is my first ever pair of the Nike SB Dunk High. I did not know what to expect. I thought, due to visual similarities in the silhouette to the Jordan 1, these would fit and feel like a balling shoe. But it is a lot more thinner and slimmer, with the sole providing me with a lot of feedback, like any skate shoe must.
Called the Wolf in Sheep’s clothing, the upper signifies sheep with it’s color tone and the use of suede whereas the sole and the in-sole (which has the gnarling face of a wolf) represent the wolf.
I picked this pair up from the nike.com website from Dubai. And weirdly enough, the sneaker arrived in an orange Nike box and not the teal coloured Nike SB box. Very disappointing, because this was my first pair. Hopefully they don’t fail me in future.
