It has been 2 months since I updated any content on my website. For that, you have my sincerest apologies. I have been quite busy with personal commitments and some life issues that I had to get through. However, I need to let you know right now, content will be intermittent as I pave my way through the rest of 2019. Nonetheless I intend to keep writing and doing all I can in the meanwhile.
In this edition of Streetwear Fit, we keep it simple and easy with a coordinated piece from the latest collaboration between Reebok Classics and Pleasures.
Pleasures is a streetwear brand founded in 2015, in Los Angeles, USA. They are known for their controversial prints and slogans, with influences drawn from genres like punk and grunge. The brand courted it’s highest level of controversy when Pleasures printed the suicide note of Kurt Cobain on one of their tees. If you don’t know who Kurt Cobain is, probably google it, because I am not going to do a “About Kurt Cobain” sub-head. Lol.
The capsule collection followed the concept of Light and Darkness. In the Light pack, they had blue and green as their primary colors on their anorak and shorts/tracks as well as sneakers, while the tee was white. And in their Dark pack everything was, well, black. I quite liked the Dark pack if I am honest, but was happy I could experiment with the colors on the Light pack.
Completing the look, I have on the Reebok X Predator Run DMX 10. I should have actually completed the look with an Aztrek but that would be too predictable.
Here’s an unboxing video from my YouTube Channel of the sneaker:
