Christmas Streetwear Fits is part of the Streetwear Fit Of The Day segment, in which we put looks together. Sometimes minimal, sometimes maximal. And some other times, plain stupid. Like this one, for Christmas of 2017.

I mean, it is a festive season. No reason we shouldn’t be a little goofy around this time of year, being high on red wine and plum cake. Yum!

I posted this sneaker shot on Christmas day and it was picked up by Highsnobiety for a feature on their ‘gram!

Vishal and I were sat at home having coffee on Christmas Day (yeah we don’t have fun plans like you would think) when we began to discuss what would Santa and his Elves look like, if they were into the streetwear scene. I pulled out a few things from my wardrobe and was holding them up and we were laughing. That’s when we were like, “Hey, it’s Christmas today. Let’s step out and get some images of what Santa and his Elves would look like on Christmas!” And I threw in a bunch of clothes in my backpack, jumped on his bike and headed out in search of a good Christmas tree. Sadly though, none of the malls had a Christmas tree worthy of a shot! So we made do with what we could find.

A couple of my friends asked me why was I even doing this, when they called/texted to ask what I was up to.

Who shoots / works on Christmas Day?!

Fortunately, the joy of creating content is as good as unwrapping presents found under the Christmas tree. Ok, I exaggerate. Not really. I’d pick finding presents under the Christmas tree, any day of the festive season.  But this was fun! We made sure both outfits had elements of Christmas colours – Red, White and Green. And we gave the Elf a backpack (full of assumed presents) because Santa don’t do no leg work! Lol.
