One of the excuses of going on vacation when you are a fashion blogger, is to tweak the surroundings of your photographs. You know, a change up to what you normally post. And surely enough a quick vacation was commissioned by the team at Bowties and Bones. To Istanbul, Turkey no less.
This week we take a quick glance at some of the beautiful spots in the city, coupled with generous doses of self glorification.
We decided to check out the night-life at Taksim, which is the city centre in Istanbul. Whilst all clubs enticed us with free shots, we made our way to Club 360 which is strangely enough located in a residential apartment. The view from the roof was to die for
The next morning, we did our tourist bit yet again. Headed out to the Sultan Ahmet area for a bit of sightseeing. Places we researched before our trip.
I drove my travel buds crazy, with the zillion stops I would insist on at the various cafes we came across. But we eventually made our way to the Galata tower. It has a breathtaking view of the entire city. Makes you feel like the king of the castle.
I had the thankless job of being behind the camera for the first time. The images turned out pretty alright I thought. Let me know what you made of them.
There will be a sequel to this street style post, in the coming weeks as we finish editing the images.
